What can I do at The Learning Link?
We can help you brush up on your basic maths, English or I.T. skills.

A:		 What does English cover?
We can help you with anything you wish, e.g. from learning to read or write, help with spelling or grammar, forming paragraphs, punctuation etc. through to essay writing. We also offer English classes for people whose first language is not English.

Will I just be on my own?
You can have tuition on your own or in a small group if you wish.

All the tuition we provide is free

 I work during the day. Can I come in the evening or weekends?
We may be able to teach you either during the day, evening or weekends - whichever suits both yourself and your tutor.

A:		 How long are the classes?
Between one and two hours, once a week.

A:		 I didn't like school. Will it be like that?
You will work at your own pace in a relaxed atmosphere with an understanding tutor.

A:		 Will I have to do a test or sit an exam?
No, we don't ask anyone to take a test or exam, but when you feel more confident you could go on to Orkney College for example, to try a qualification in your subject if you wish.
