Adult Tuition - about us... |

The Learning Link has expanded in the past couple of years and is now situated at: We have a part-time staff of six and also about twenty-five Volunteer Tutors who very kindly donate their time tutoring for us. The Learning Link specialises in Adult Education and is part of Orkney Islands Council's Community Learning and Development Service. We have helped over 350 students of all ages. Some have just wanted to brush up on their spelling; some have come in as they have needed help with maths at their work. Some people have come in because they did not do well at school and want a second chance at improving their education, or they want to increase their confidence. | English | Reading, writing, spelling, English basics, helping children with homework, or anything work related. |
| Numeracy | Simple maths, arithmetic, also helping children with homework or again anything you need to brush up on for your work. |
| Life Skills | Help applying for jobs, budgeting, basic computing, etc. |
